Mark A. Fagin

Chief Warrant Officer Five Mark A. FaginChief Warrant Officer Five Mark Fagin was born on January 16, 1960 in Phoenix, Arizona, and enlisted in the Army in 1978. Following basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, he completed Advanced Individual Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, as a Tracked Vehicle Mechanic. Following ten years of enlisted and Noncommissioned Officer service with duty in Korea and Germany, he began his 22-year career as a Chief Warrant Officer with his assignment to the 9th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Washington.

Over the course of the next ten years, CW5 Fagin continued to hone his skills with successive assignments with the 2nd Infantry Division and the 82nd Airborne Division. In 2002, CW5 Fagin began a series of assignments to U.S. Army Special Operations Command. Following an assignment as a Brigade Maintenance Officer, in which he quickly established himself as an expert on the myriad of platforms used by the special operations community, he was assigned as the Chief of the Maintenance Division for the Materiel Management Center. CW5 concluded this series of assignments as the Senior Logistics-Maintenance Officer in the G4 branch of the command.

CW5 Fagin culminated his career with his assignment to the U.S. Special Operations Command as a Senior Maintenance-Logistics officer in the Development and Acquisition Center under the Directorate of Logistics in 2005, in which he supported a myriad of high profile projects supporting special operation forces around the world.

Chief Warrant Officer Five Fagin retired in 2010.
