CSM Allen G. Fritzsching

CSM Allen G. FritzschingCSM Allen G. Fritzsching was born in Houston, Texas, and joined the U.S. Army in 1985. He received Initial Entry Training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

CSM Fritzsching has served in every Noncommissioned Officer position from Section Sergeant to Nominative Command Sergeant Major, including over twelve years as a Command Sergeant Major. His assignments include: Section Sergeant, B Company 8-101st Aviation Regiment; H Company, 159th Aviation Regiment, B Company 1-81st Armor Regiment; HHC, 29th Engineer Battalion; First Sergeant, HHC, 112th Special Operations Signal Battalion (Airborne); CSM, 189th Corps Support Battalion (Airborne); CSM, 2nd Material Management Center; CSM, 10th Sustainment Brigade; CSM, U.S. Army Developmental Test Command, CSM, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command and the 4th Department of the Army Inspector General Sergeant Major.

From June 2011 to June 2013, CSM Fritzsching served as Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command responsible for the developmental testing, operational testing and evaluation of DOD systems and providing critical information to senior leaders and acquisition decision makers.

In June 2013, CSM Fritzsching was the first Command Sergeant Major ever selected to serve as the Department of the Army Inspector General Sergeant Major. SGM Fritzsching served as the Senior Advisor to the Inspector General of the United States Army enhancing the readiness of the U.S. Army through conducting inspections, investigations, teaching and training and providing assistance to over 1.1 million military and over 300,000 Department of the Army Civilian personnel and their Families.

CSM Fritzsching retired in December 2015.
