LTC Chris Mullis is currently serving as the Chief of Staff for the U.S. Ordnance Corps, Fort Lee, Virginia. He commissioned in the U.S. Army in 2008 in the Ordnance Corps from North Georgia College.

LTC Mullis’ early command and staff assignments include: Forward Support Company Maintenance Platoon Leader, Forward Support Company Executive Officer, Battalion Logistics Officer (S4), 4-101 AVN BN, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division; Support Operations Planner and Battalion Operations Officer (S3); 35th Combat Service Support Battalion, Company Commander U.S. Army Japan (USARJ) and I CORPS (FWD), Camp Zama, Japan; Training With Industry (CATERPILLAR); Operational Plans Officer, Army Sustainment Command; Material Management Branch Chief, Brigade Logistics Officer (S4), 189th Division Support Operations Officer, 82nd Airborne Division Sustainment Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division; Company Commander and Battalion Executive Officer 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade, CASCOM Deputy Plans and Operations G3/5/7.

LTC Mullis holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from North Georgia College and a Master of Arts in Transportation and Logistics Management from American Military University. His military education includes: The Ordnance Basic and Logistics Captain Career Course, Army Command and General Staff College, Theater Sustainment Planners Course, Support Operations Phase I and II, Operational Counteracting Support Course, Combat Advisor Training Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Aerial Delivery Material Officer Course, Demonstrated Master Logistician.

LTC Mullis’s award and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (4), Army Commendation Medal (5), Army Achievement Medal (6), Nation Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (3 bronze stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon (3), NATO-ISAF Medal, Rigger Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge.
