Ordnance Chief Warrant Officer

Chief Warrant Officer Five Carlos H. Terrones is a native of Lompoc, California. He enlisted in the Army in 1993 as a 63B, Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. CW5 Terrones served a total of 11 years enlisted, earned the rank of Sergeant First Class, and was inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club and the Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharpe.

CW5 Terrones completed the Warrant Officer Candidate Course in 2004 at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and the Warrant Officer Basic Course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland where he was awarded the MOS of 915A, Automotive Maintenance Warrant Officer.

His warrant officer assignments include: Maintenance Warrant Officer, 18th Medical Command, Yongsan, Korea; Support Automotive Maintenance Warrant Officer, 202nd and 702nd Brigade Support Battalion in support of 2nd Battalion 23rd Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade, 2ID, Fort Lewis, Washington; Senior Ordnance Ground Maintenance Warrant Officer, 501st Brigade Support Battalion in support of 6th Squadron 1st Cavalry Regiment; Support Operations Senior Maintenance Warrant Officer, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas; G4 Senior Maintenance Warrant Officer, 8th TSC, Hawaii; Support Operations Senior Maintenance Warrant Officer, 25th Sustainment Brigade, Hawaii; and Personnel Developer, U.S. Army Ordnance School, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. His most recent assignment was as the Ordnance Logistics Officer in the Eighth Army G4 SPO Materiel Readiness Branch, Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

CW5 Terrones completed multiple deployments which include Operation Joint Endeavor, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1995-96, Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007-08 and 2009-10, and Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan, in 2012-13.

His military education includes all levels of Warrant Officer Professional Military Education.

CW5 Terrones earned a Master's in Business Administration degree, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning, all from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio. He earned an Associate's degree in General Studies from Central Texas College.

CW5 Terrones' awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (2 Oak Leaf Clusters), Meritorious Service Medal (6 Oak Leaf Clusters), Army Commendation Medal (4 Oak Leaf Clusters), and Army Achievement Medal (7 Oak Leaf Clusters).
