The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician course is designed to train enlisted personnel in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection procedures, administrative forms, and records. Five Annexes are taught over the duration of the course, 42 training days. This course will give the student the skills necessary for installation, operation, repair, and troubleshooting fault diagnosis of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The students will also receive extensive instruction on the Marine Corps maintenance management system. This course will also stress the use of instruments to determine equipment operating efficiency and safety precautions for protection of the equipment and technician.
